We use SMOP.  http://www.turbo-it.com/

Simple to use, install, and administer.  It is inexpensive as well.  Support has been very responsive the couple of 
times we've needed it just to clarify a couple things.

would be willing to share experiences, thoughts, etc?  Does it work with single sign on?  If so, home grown or shrink
