Hi Kevin,

I think it depends to some degree on which features you use on the VPN. We're using the Network Connect client on two
appliances - one SA2500 and one SA4500 - and I've found that it works pretty well on Linux (I haven't tried it on any
BSD variants unless you consider Snow Leopard as such) provided that there's a usable JVM installed. The only operating
system we've really had any difficulties with is Snow Leopard and that's mainly due to the changes that Apple
introduces to their proprietary JVM from time to time in their updates.

Also, just to touch on the original question, we didn't opt for any training when we purchased our appliances and as it
turns, we didn't really need it. We were able to do everything we needed to do using the "Juniper Networks Secure
Access SSL VPN Configuration Guide" book from Syngress Press as our guide.

Is this the case for all platforms? My management machines (or
machines I'd connect to the campus network from a remote location via
VPN) run FreeBSD or OpenBSD and I've found most vendors tend to
forget about the Unix portion of their customer base, I'm curious if
Juniper has done the same?
