New Risk Management Framework now available

The Risk Assessment Working Group is very pleased to announce the release of
a completely updated Risk Management Framework (to take a look, visit
https://wiki.internet2.edu/confluence/display/secguide/Risk+Management+Frame
work ).



The new version of the Framework retains the overall structure of the
original (although the names of major phases have been changed to enhance
clarity).  It has been completely updated throughout to provide more
detailed guidance in all phases, processes, and steps to assist those
institutions seeking a risk management methodology oriented toward higher
education.  The capability to adapt the framework to specific environments
is more transparent than before and additional web navigation aids have been
added throughout.



The Risk Assessment Working Group is always seeking input from the college
and university community.  Please feel free to reply to this email or to
leave comments on any page of the Framework.
