Following up; I spoke with Jeremy Landis of the RIAA yesterday. He was quite helpful and said that they've fixed both
these issues. We didn't receive any notices this morning so I cannot yet confirm.

Subject: [SECURITY] RIAA DMCA notices malformed this school year

It appears that the RIAA has started sending their fall DMCA notices today. A few issues/concerns/comments/notes:

1. Has anyone else notice malformed XML? It appears that they have '&'s where they should instead have '&'s.
2. They are being sent to abuse@ as opposed to our official registered address for receiving DMCA complaints
(copyright@).

We also noticed that the Case ID numbers have reset. interesting.

But, seriously, these issues are pretty frustrating.
