Having experience with NetEnforcer in my previous job and having seen the Packeteer in operation I liked the NE better. 
 It had a good looking interface to manage it.  It seemed like the management interface of the Packeteer was an 
afterthought.

The NEs worked well for the five years I used them and I still have a friend who uses one of their 45Mbit models.
