You can use the disk utility to set up an encrypted container, but it's
not user friendly at all and so isn't a viable option.

I don't believe that are any FDE products for Mac.  Filevault 
is really the only option.  I think a major stumbling block 
to Mac FDE is pre-boot authentication.

So, what product(s) is everyone using for full-disk on Macs?

I agree with teh previous comment on Filevault - it encrypts 
teh parts of the disk where a user will be putting things - 
yes a user can get around that if they want to enough but ...
