Socks5 Proxy Recommendations?

Good day,

 

As part of a project we are working on, we would like to bring up a
SOCKS5 server as a "stage1" workaround for problems people encounter.
Has anyone got good or bad things to say about these particular SOCKS5
implementations?   For authentication, I have either AD or LDAP so I'm
not particular bound to a platform choice. 

 

If you do not want to go on record as saying YAY or NAY for a particular
