Charlie,

Here at the University of South Florida we use a product called
PatchLink (http://www.patchlink.com/) for deploying Microsoft and
non-Microsoft updates and patches. We have also used this product to
create and deploy packages we created ourselves for applying software
upgrades (e.g. Office 2000 to Office 2003, etc.), global registry
changes, etc.

We have been very pleased with this product.

Subject: [SECURITY] Patch management

Anyone have a patch management package that they like?

We are using WSUS for our windows boxes and this works great for windows
security and office updates. We are looking for something that can
assist in the management of such applications as acrobat.

Products to look at? Ones to avoid like the plague?
