Subject: Joint Techs Session Proposal Deadline is this
Friday, January 5

Happy New Year to you all!

This is a reminder that this Friday, January 5 is the
deadline for session proposals for the next Joint Techs
workshop to be held in Minneapolis, February 11-14. If you
want to do a plenary presentation, hold a BoF, Vendor's Soup,
or any other side meeting, you should fill out the web form at:

http://events.internet2.edu/cfm/index.cfm?event=263

The three focal areas for this time are Hybrid Networking,
Campus Networks and Security. If you have something to say
in these areas, submit a proposal. There will also be
updates from the R&E networks, on Performance Tools, and some
applications that remind us of why we have these networks.
Details on the workshop can be found at:

http://jointtechs.es.net/minnesota2007/

So while you are thinking of it, go ahead and register and
reserve your hotel. For those of you that are saying
"Minneapolis in February?!", remember that it will be good
justification for Hawaii next winter. ;-)
