Policy concerning terminated employee email and file service access

Does anyone have a policy they could share that covers the rights of an
employee terminated (including termination for misconduct) in terms of
their access to email and file services? We are grappling with how much
access, if any, and under what circumstances to allow a terminated
employee access to their data which may contain personal and university
business-related email and files.
