called NeXpose.  It is a vulnerability assessment solution that is based
in JAVA and XML (so perfect for Windows and Unix environments). NeXpose is
being widely used at many universities around the country and we have a
pricing model specifically for universities with tight budgets.  NeXpose
won SC Magazine's BEST VULNERABILITY ASSESSMENT solution for 2006.

Feel free to check out the website and the list of universities using the
solution.  I am not trying to promote the solution or influence the
general public.  I just thought the subject directly related to our
product and we have a group of sales folks that directly work in the EDU
space.

You may want to check out GFI Languard.  It is relatively inexpensive, but
very effective.
