Re: SPYWARE laws that could favor software vendors

A state bill was introduced in OK that would have allowed software vendors to
enter your system to remove unlicensed software under the guise of preventing
spyware. Fortunately, press coverage and reasonable thinking killed this bill.

However, the article mentions that 12 states have passed similar legislation
including CA and TX.
