Paypal accounts have their own set of issues. That being pushed aside has anyone spoken with your legal folks to get 
their position? I would be concerned with any legal liabilities the school might be open to by allowing such activity. 
I'd be interested in understanding what you mean by "host small events". Do you mean host like in server host? Are you 
looking at allowing students to setup their own server and setup an ebay like platform from on campus? If so, I hope 
you have a lot of heart medicine...:-)

Our student groups are putting increasing pressure on us to allow them to set up Paypal accounts to sell items, host 
small events, etc. I would like to hear what others are allowing on campus regarding the use of Paypal accounts - and 
why you allow or disallow it.
