We've had training sessions for our campus officers the past couple of years.
I know other schools like UMASS/Amherst have similar programs. Simple things
like how to read email headers to track down email abuse (our #1 issue) and
who to contact within the University were among the topics we discussed.
They're sending an officer to the SANS training event we're hosting here in
March (www.conted.vt.edu/isect/).

There are a couple of computer forensic schools tailored for LE. I'm trying to
get that info and will post it here asap.
