It's not integrated with email (since it's so full of warts, confusing
secure email with regular email only adds to the problem in my opinion), but
Yozons Signed & Secured (www.yozons.com) works by sending messages/docs over
the web using email addresses for routing just like email. But it's
encrypted while traversing the Internet and while stored on disk. The
technology has been used at a major university for student health records
and for student loans and other hipaa compliant apps in the medical arena.

Subject: [SECURITY] Secure Email

Currently we are looking at a secure email solution for our campus.
Does anyone currently use a secure email solution in their environment?
Does your campus environment consist of a health science center?
