Hi.

        Background:
                Windows PC Active-X (COM) control which returns
information about a machine's status regarding Symantec AV Corporate
Edition installation and Automatic Update settings to a web-page. Can
also turn on automatic updates normally or by Policy.

        New features:
                - Encrypted return messages available for all functions
                - Server-side compliance check implementation on apache
over both Linux and Windows
                - Server-side decode executable that builds on both
Linux and Windows
                - Server-side perl module to interface with decoder
                - Better documentation and detailed registration process

      If you have a previous version on a machine, you should:
                - Close all browser windows
                - Go to C:\[Windows|Winnt]\system32
            - regsvr32 /u UofRMachineCheck.dll
            - del UofRMachineCheck.dll

        This is a release candidate for our registration process.
