What's the biggest hole in your network? Your employees, of course! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/3639679.stm In February, I attended a conference at which Kevin Minick, renowed reformed hacker, spoke. He referenced a survey where nine in ten of office workers at London's Waterloo Station gave away their computer password for a cheap pen - up from 65 per cent the previous year. What makes the above story (linked) even more astounding is that the survey was carried out an an InfoSec conference where people ought to know better. Simply astounding. It just goes to show that education is a huge, and arguably the most important, factor when it comes to IT security.
