How will this system handle bounces?
Could a students course schedule be cancelled for non-payment simply because
of a email qouta problem?

Subject: [SECURITY] E-mail billing

This question may have already been discussed on the list, if so,
I missed it.

We are about to implement e-mail billing for registration. The
bill will be e-mailed to the student's e-mail account that is
provided by the College. The bill will list the classes the
student has registered for, tuition and fees, their name, college
assigned student ID number and, postal mailing address. It will
not contain their SSN, DOB, credit card number, bank account info
or, parent/guardian information.

To pay the bill, the e-mail bill will instruct the student to
either log into the Portal and navigate to the on-line payment
section or, to go to the cashiers window or, to mail in their
payment. The bill will be e-mailed from a Do Not Reply e-mail
address. (We do not permit creating an e-mail forwarding address.)

Who else has implemented an e-mail billing solution?
Is there anything wrong with this? Are there some things we might
be overlooking?

Thank you,
