When I was at Black Hat we called people every so often. It was either
because we wanted more info on their presentation or their speaking
skills. I think doing it systematically raises the bar on accepted
content. Way to go guys.

Excellent.

This should also held weed out presenters who know precisely what is on the
slides, and nothing more. I think every technical conference should do this.
