Man - that was a great Archie Bunker impression. I assume you were just
trying to be funny right? The world did change:

1. Lynn is out of a job

Mark my words, this is going to be best thing to happen to his career
in a long time, and he knows it.

2. Cisco is going to take security vulnerabilities a bit more seriously

Yeah, right. And that's why they ran around like headless chickens
trying to censor the information. Cisco are still treating it like a
PR issue, ala Microsoft for so many years.

3. Security Researchers are going to treat Cisco like crap for a bit

As in piss all over the software finding a lot of bugs in a short time
the way a lot of guys did to Windows RPC or as in write snide and
condescending articals on slashdot and mailing lists trying to
convince themselves they have all the angles on Security Superority?

4. BlackHat attendance is going to go WAY up next year (look for more press
coverage for sure)
5. <insert next step>
6. Profit!

So there we have it. Net result of Michael Lynn's contribution to the
world of security thus far: More money in the back pocket Jeff Moss.

I bet mom's real proud.
