if you have the balls to attempt to use smudge you should be given a medal... it has no documentation and is broken in many aspects and anyone who isn't me tends to use it the wrong way. i actually havn't looked ran it/looked at it for over six months. therefore i recommend the use of spike. it's not written in python and it *appears* as if it is broken on purpose sometimes so 0day found with it before it's release stays 0day. but it's still rad.

if you want to learn python quickly have a look at http://www.diveintopython.org you can download the whole book for free. For security oriented tools, one I enjoyed quite a lot is SMUDGE: http://felinemenace.org/~nd/SMUDGE/ it's a really nice fuzzer, similar to SPIKE :) have fun! It shoul be extensible, can import various libraries, and be able to run on multi platforms. What can be the best option among: 1>SHELL SCRIPTING 2>RUBY 3>PERL What are their strengths and weaknesses. Thanks' ---A.Sable-- In theory, there's no difference between theory and practice. But, in practice, there is.
