-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- The Microsoft.com download servers (and related conxion servers) have experienced some replication issues which may have prevented some recent files (tools and/or patches) from being properly replicated amongst the entire server farm. (This resulted from operational issues, not technical issues). Due to the load balancing nature of the server farm, users are randomly directed to various download servers. While most of the servers are properly hosting the related files, some of the servers have yet to receive the files - this results in a 404 error when a user is requesting a file from a server that does not yet host a copy of that file. The microsoft.com team is aware of the issue and is working diligently to address the issue - both with Microsoft servers and the conxion servers. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience while we correct these issues. Regards, Secure () Microsoft com - -----Original Message----- From: Adam J. I reported the fact that it was missing to MS via their site feedback mechanism, but got a standard "our servers might have been heavily loaded or your network connection might have been down" reply from some rep. Interesting that they're advertising this tool to such a wide audience, but didn't even check to make sure it made it to the download servers... - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Justin Lintz" <jlintz () OPTONLINE NET> To: <BUGTRAQ () SECURITYFOCUS COM> Sent: Friday, September 08, 2000 7:39 PM Subject: Re: [BUGTRAQ] Microsoft Security Bulletin (MS00-063)
