There is package called 'tap'. The current version seems still to be 1.24.
Ask archie where to get it. If this fails, ask me.

After a tty is opened you push a streams module which makes copies of all
passed messages and sends the copies to /dev/tapc[01].

I used this to find out why zmodem only worked in one direction over a
X.25 PAD (didn't find it out :-((( grrr).

If someone has ported tap to Solaris 2 it would be nice to know.
