HI,

Indeed.
If you are running VOIP on your network you would not want the traffic running over your network traffic. You would
Isolate the VOIP traffic to it's own vlan.

Dear D. D.
Hello.Thanks for your comment.
Actually, separation of broadcast domains, was the original reason of creating VLAN concept;but not the only one.
Nowadays, when it comes to design (for example a LAN), VLANs are used, not because of separation/isolation of
"broadcast traffic" but for separation "different traffics" within LAN environment; for example separation the traffics
of SALES Dept. from Technical Dept. which indeed is because of the "Security" reasons. Using VLANs is not a total
solution for Security because the traffic is readable(not encrypted) if get sniffed. But of course, there are some
tricks to overcome this problem, like using Encryption. And the one term I could mention here to show using VLANs in
Security fields, is "Layer-2 VPN" that has different ways of implementation and using VLAN is one of them. VPNs or any
other Security solutions is nothing but preventing non-authorized access to our data as much as much as needed and
possible.

Good luck my friend

Hello,

I feel like your request is somehow unclear. you once mentioned
"VLAN" which is related to Network(Security)

In my understanding VLANs are not related to security, they are only
related to broadcast domain separation. Perhaps someone can share
thoughts on this.
