pfSense is web-gui bases so a lot of point-and-click stuff there. most of the support is on the docs/wiki.

i recommend it as well.

From what he told me, his server was not being used as an open relay.

As for pfSense, how friendly is the interface? I have not had a chance to try it. My friend is an above average windows user. He does not have a problem with the command line either given that he used to work on computers during the DOS days but I do not know if he has had any Linux / free BSD experience.
