I wonder if he can hear us trip-trapping on 'his' list. Just wait 'til my
big brother, Gruff gets here.

From what I've been able to gather lurking on this mailing list for a
while there are a few trolls, andrew being of the great flaming
tolken-esque variety, and the sentiments are shared:

Google "n3td3v" to find more.

andrew's managed to attract quite a bit of attention for himself
though, gotta give him credit for that.

Hi all,

Is the USA planning another large scale war against another
independent nation? And is Andrew one of their propaganda puppets?

I don't see any other explanation for a sudden rise in aggressive war
mongering drivel such as this. If US utilities want to do something to
keep their systems safe, they should abandon Windows as an OS and
probably even disconnect their SCADA systems from the net.

I remember at the time the US started their first invasion of Iraq
American TV-channels such as National Geographic suddenly seemed to
have an awful lot of programs about warships, weapons, military planes
and war strategy. And that started months before there was any mention
of a US "intervention".

I've kept quiet because I agree with those stating that it is best to
ignore such government trolls. However, I wouldn't want to see a
valuable resource such as these mailing lists completely ruined by
drivel such as this call for "awareness" from Andrew.

Semantically, this is war propaganda, no more or no less. And it even
is pointed at US citizens (the other cyberterrorism thread), showing
that the dark side will stop at nothing to have their way.

Hoping I'm wrong,

Wim.

Subject: North Korea conflict with US and South Korea could spark cyber
war

n3td3v Security is monitoring the situation between North Korea, US and
South
Korea.

North Korea has already threatened to use its nuclear arms when the
"wargames"
begin Sunday by United States and South Korea, but n3td3v Security
predicts
North Korea is planning a large scale cyber attack on US interests.

We could really see the first cyber war proper here when it all kicks off
Sunday

between US, S.Korea and the North.

n3td3v Security is warning critical infrastructure utility companies to
keep an
eye on its cyber assets incase NK's cyber command launch any attack.
