When did GMail upgrade it's encryption to 256-bit AES?

Hi

I noticed this about a month ago, we're no longer using 128-bit RC4,
but 256-bit AES!

Very good news, just wondering when this change occurred?

Was it when GMail stopped being beta, or after then?

If anyone has an exact date, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,

Panarchy
