Another solution it is to reboot the computer. Then enter on the BIOS conf and disable the NIC and wireless. Then 
reboot again and your problem should be solved.

Also in order to increase the level of security you could disable the usb ports, just in case he develop a Trojan which 
seeks for any out information point.
