The base install may not have what you need, but there modules (2) that will add functionality. There is also the BackTrack (3) "live" CD. 1. http://www.slax.org/ 2. http://www.slax.org/modules.php 3. http://www.remote-exploit.org/backtrack.html -----Original Message----- From: listbounce () securityfocus com [mailto:listbounce () securityfocus com] On Behalf Of Al Saenz Sent: Wednesday, May 02, 2007 2:06 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: security tools boot disk Dear List, This is my first post. I tried to look for a way to search the archives but I couldn't find a way. I'm sorry. Basically I want to create a "small" Linux boot disk that will contain some security tools (audit, packet analyzer, etc). I just don't know which Linux distribution to use and which tools that are offered for that distro. that I should use. Basically does anyone have a site that shows how to make such a disk? Thanks Al
