Hi As far as i know AWStats and Webtrends i must say that each ine has it's advantages. Webtrends is an excellent Tool for the marketing and management guys where you can generate reports on specific campaigns and so on. But sometimes it's very tricky to find a specific Problem. Probably this has become better in Version 7 but i haven't worked with it yet. AWStats on th other hand just get's you all the basic information and is very easy and fast to setup. For the reason AWStats is written in Perl and usually runs CGI you have to be aware of Security leaks. Especially when it is accessible from the internet. You can try Awstats. It is easy to configure, can be used for various analysis (Apache NCSA combined log files (XLF/ELF) or common (CLF), IIS log files (W3C), WebStar native log files and other web, proxy, wap or streaming servers log files, ftp or mail log files) and is released under GNU GPL . You can find more info on http://www.awstats.org/.
