Hi.
I know only one succesful atempt to provide some kind
on identity check using software, and that is the use
of electronic signatures. Of course using cryptography
will not solve all problems not even by far, but at
least there is something. And I agree that software
can't be the solution to social engineering, as long
as there are users that write passwords on their
monitors.
