Take a look at the Cisco ASA5550. It has 1.2Gbps throughput (plaintext)

Looks like $20k new, $13-14K refurb. <- techdata.com

Subject: Firewalls

Hi,

I just started to look for an enterprise level firewall that has
gigabit throughput with application layer proxies. I do not want to
go with either checkpoint(expense) or secure computing(sidewinder).

I would have went with CyberGuards(TSP), but god knows what the
lifespan will be before secure integrates it into G2.

Any insight to a decent FW that fits that description would be greatly
appreciated!

Thx,
Mark
