I tend to agree with Christopher Stromblad on this one. Ok, so their are products to mitigate DDoS attacks but in the example cited, you need to turn up an new circuit to get the advertised product. If you have a contractual agreement that locks you in with your current provider and lack the funding for a second circuit, you're pretty much screwed.
