Hello, Why ask this question on this list? I know this is a common standard of question asked, and that this is in no manner not a valid type of information that security professionals should know. The issue is as to why this is being asked. Asking as you want to know what to stop/block/fix, well this involves security. You are asking how do I bypass a sites controls. What is the valid reason? Do you care at all about this "friend"? I know that if you are discovered doing this on many networks you will be subject to disicplinary action. Do you areally want to help your firend be sacked just to show off a little? In doing this you are bing complicent in the actions. This makes you just as responsible if you do help. What happens if the sites that your "friend" goes to results in some action? If she was to be dismissed and the company take action against her, would this be something to be proud of? At least ask the question in a manner that seems that you are tying to act as a security professional/ systems professional... Whatever. At least ask how to implement controls not how to break them. I am trying to help a friend who said that she couldn't go to certain websites at work. They ban certain key words. For example, religious words. If she were to do a search on YMCA, the company blocks the search results because its a religious-related word. I tried to recommend websites like: http://proxify.com/ and http://www.anonymizer.com/ It didn't work, as the company already blocked out those sites. I remember there are quite a few. As I didn't save my favourite when I formatted my PC. I can't remember which are those sites. I tried google research already. But not much luck. Any pointers would be very much appreciated.
