Really sticking my neck out here, as I don't really know much about this
field.

It sounds a lot like OpenVPN to me. Would it not be simpler/cheaper to just
set up OpenVPN with everybody connecting to a single, centralised location?

I will be setting up a meeting to find out more, but would like to have some
input from you all.

Anyone have experience with this?

Any security related info would be helpful.
