Re: How to force a program to run in READ-ONLY mode?

You would need to run your app in a security context that only has
read access to the system. You would likely need to modify directory
ACL's system wide.

I believe this should be possible to accomplish.

Hi,

I'm curious, is there a simple way or a "shell utility" to force a
program (under MS-Windows 2000) to run in read only?

I want to make sure the program doesn't write anything anyware (Just
load and run in memory)

Thanks.
