Hi,
You have not specified what Os you are running, netstat it self differs from one Os to other and different Oss offers different tools. Okey under linux i use "netstat -atp" or "-anut" man netstat would show you more options if you like to lsof may help also.Netstat should work the same under FreeBSD but FreeBSD offer a more powerfull tool "sockstat". Under windows xp netstat accept the -ano or get the sysinternals.com TCPView a free and good tool. Hope this helps.
