A jump box is a secure box that is limited too who can access it and
from where used to access other servers that have been set up with
such security features as tcp wrappers or firewalls to only allow
that server ip to access that device. It can also be used to reach
private networks. There are many meanings of this device but that is
what we sue it for at my job.

Hi I am looking for advice on creating a secure unix jumpbox

What is a 'jumpbox'? I've never heard the term before.
