Just change your password to something else, but if you want more security go with something that allows encryption such as PGP

Anyway, does anyone know if there's any recent security holes in yahoo-mail?
I'm a bit curious now since no one i know seems to recommend anyone to use yahoo anymore.

As for me, I use Yahoo sometimes because of it's convenience and less junk mail.

1) Yahoo mail freezes your account after several bad password entry attempts. It's very difficult to run any type of bruteforce passwd cracker with a yahoo account (or for any other webmail for that matter) 2) You can turn off hidden HTTP links so that junk mails can't track you with port80 type links.
3) During Sign-on, u can click "secure" so that you can login securely...
(although it seems like yahoo's switching between secure and insecure servers at times. not sure if they still do) 4) they give you decent storage amount... about 4megs although it used to be 6

How can you know if your yahoo account password has been cracked in case the cracker doesn't change it or manipulate any other data relevant to your account(for instance after reading your mails marks them as unread, etc)?

My suggestion would be to avoid using a Yahoo account for anything that requires security.
