Anyone taken the Comptia Security + exam as a beginning exam to the CISSP.

Also anyone know of security positions in Minnesota, US.

Subject: CISSP awareness in Europe

Hi all,

is there anyone in the list in Europe (or who has worked extensively in
Europe in the Security business) who has a grasp of how much value the CISSP

certification has in Europe (and more specifically in Southern Europe) ?

Although I've been working in Security Consulting for quite a while now, I
am
under the impression that most potential employers / clients don't even know

what CISSP is, and if they know they don't care much (at least south of the
UK).

I'd like to know if this is just an impression of mine or what. Anyone can
share their opinions/experiences?

Cheers,
