Guys, you crack me up...

It's quite scary to be honest to see some "security" specialists stick to their stubborn ideas, that the only way they
think to know is the only way Script Kiddies and real-world Hackers work...

I think it is maybe time some of you wake up and join the likes of the more flexible/realistic ones on this list.

The fact is that there are 1000's of bugs that won;t give you diseases... and only a hand full that cause real trouble.

If there are 1000 script kiddies out there, I'd say, of course protect against them, but if you protect yourself
against the real big fish then you'll be safe against them anyway...

Sorry to say, Ping is for kiddies... and definitly not the first thing a bigger caliber hacker would use... but sure,
if you want to get found out, run a ping sweep... haha...
Now you are sure you got the Admins on their toes, waiting for your next move...

Get my drift?...

Anyway, I'm enjoying the discussion, but let's forget about the personal battles, and the "I'm better than you..."
fights, there's another place for that...
And I think that's where you'll find the script kiddies as well ;)

Now, on with the show, I have some more hours to waste...

Thanks,

        Diederik
