If one was going to do something wrong - well then perhaps fear over using a tool that does nasty stuff to the DRM aspects of pdf is not really a solution. Remember folks we are trying to achieve something that is cost effective. If the information is really that sensitive then writing it with a ball point pen on a piece of paper leaning on a glass surface may be more appropriate, not to mention the wall / floor safe or bank vault. If you know the value of the information you can make value judgements about how to store it.
