If you already outsource your e-mail to an ISP, I would see what they
offer as to anti-spam and virus protection. I work for an ISP and that
is a service we offer to our customers. Are you outsourcing POP mail?
Feel free to e-mail me directly with questions.

We use Norton Antivirus for Gateways, and it's saved us on several
occasions. -Brian

Subject: POP/SMTP Proxy

I am looking for anyones experiences and recomendations using a POP/SMTP
proxy configuration for email and using it to filter/virus check
incoming and outgoing email.

Currently we are an MS shop and trying to address a couple of issues.
Firstly we have outsourced our email services through our Internet
provider however they block SMTP access if you do not connect through
the company Internet connection (ie remote dialups). Secondly we would
like to try and stop email viruses etc before reaching the workstation.

Thank you,
-Jimmy
