-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Look and see if there's a service running as his account, that is using the old password. I had someone here that did that to me, and it was definitely aggravating that the IDS kept reporting his account locking out every day starting at the same time. - -----Original Message----- From: Wright, Bill [mailto:bwright () ny whitecase com] Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2003 1:17 PM To: security-basics () securityfocus com Subject: Windows 2000 user login I have never posted to this board, so hopefully I'm following the right procedures. My issue is that a user's account keeps getting locked out due to an aggressive password policy (30 days) and he claims that he isn't logged into multiple machines nor is he fat fingering his password. Is anybody aware of a product to find out where or how many Windows 2000 servers or workstations a user is logged into? My thinking is that he's logged into multiple machines under an old password that keeps locking him out. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: Hush 2.2 (Java) Note: This signature can be verified at https://www.hushtools.com/verify wmAEARECACAFAj6DGU0ZHG5pZ2h0b3dsY2F0QGh1c2htYWlsLmNvbQAKCRDrmr+NtB0Q ePz9AJsHgafKS/W2E+2PnXKBuUxMvXtviQCfQEYjkFQWKVLnry/4B2hW9NNlSDk= =2XXO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Concerned about your privacy?
