Hi Tim,

I have been the product manager for Avaya and Lucent wireless for 3
years.
There are noumerous security standards on the way.. Some good some bad.
It also depends on what level of security you want.

I would suggest that you have all your AP's on the Outside or at least
in the DMZ of your firewall and then the clients should use VPN to get
into your network.

Or have a look at the www.funk.com they have a TKIP solution with a
RADIUS server that is really neat and fairly cheap.

Hope this helps,

Rgds,

We're going to be taking the dive on a WLAN here soon. We have two
floors and two wings on each floor. I'm thinking of 2 access points per
wing. My question, is that I'm looking for opinions on how best to set
this up security-wise. I've been reading a lot about this lately, but
maybe someone on this list has set this up and give me some input. My
Wireless knowledge is probably a 4 (out of 10). Thanks, -Tim
