I am drafting an AUP for a client who works in finance industry and just wanted some clarification from the list. Does a UK AUP require a signature from the employees as acknowledgement or is best endeavours at distribution etc enough. Would it be wise to include some text in the login banner on windows machines that states that the machine is being monitored Is it LAWFUL to inform employees that internet access is only to be used for company business and that any personal use is not tolerated ? Finally anyone got any urls for good template AUPs that are applicable to UK Law.
