Resending due to yesterday's crash....
Netware has a firewall that ships with it... Here is one of a few tech docs:http://support.novell.com/cgi-bin/search/searchtid.cgi?/2930996.htmAnother option if you wanted to pay for it is Bordermanager. It may or may not be overkill. As far as IDS's go, Netvision (www.netvision.com) or Blue Lance (www.bluelance.com) make well respected Auditing/Intrusion Detection systems though I don't know if it's exactly what you are looking for.
Also, I'm not a groupwise guru, but there are really good mailing lists at www.ngwlist.com for groupwise and at netlab1.usu.edu for netware where people will really be able to help out.
