whatever happened to efnet? all servers appear to be down. seems like efnet as a concept went totally under. does anyone have any clue on this strange happening?
EFnet tends to be take the brunt of packet kiddies on a semi-regular basis. Several months ago, in defense, the majority of servers blocked access to most people on their servers. There are still a handful of servers that people can get on, some accessible only to certain people. EFnet is just a pain in the ass these days, frankly. More-so than it used to be. http://irchelp.org/irchelp/networks/efnetsux.html Regards, -- __ ______ ____ / \ / \ \ / / White Vampire\Rem \ \/\/ /\ Y / http://www.projectgamma.com/ \ / \ / http://www.webfringe.com/ \__/\ / \___/ http://www.gammaforce.org/ \/ "Silly hacker, root is for administrators."
