~:Hi, ~: I'm having trouble setting up a TCP connection manually in a program. I'm ~:sending the packets manually, but can't seem to get anywhere after the SYN, and ~:ACK reply. Does anyone know where to look? Can it be found in a RFC? you're probably having trable because your kernel responds with `rst' together with your program respoding with `ack'. if you're reading packets straight off the datalink, make sure you block any traffic from your target with ipf/ipfw/ipchains first..
