PS. How come the tcpdump 3.7.2 release have several older files? The tcpdump-current from last month has several files that are newer (in terms of CVS version, but not file-version) than the release dated Febr 27.
The tcpdump 3.7.2 release is a minor release from the 3.7 branch (note that there is a 4-part version number on many of the files); the current CVS version is destined to be tcpdump 3.8 . We haven't worked out the release schedule for 3.8 yet, but we probably should start thinking about it. Bill - This is the TCPDUMP workers list.
